Fluid Drives
TRI designs and manufacturers fluid drives which can be used for many applications.

The major advantage of a fluid drive is that it couple two shafts without a physical connection. Power is transmitted through a region of spinning oil. This unique feature eliminates the transmission of vibration across the coupling and removes torque spikes. The output speed of the fluid drive can be controlled by controlling the amount of oil inside the fluid drive. This allows a fluid drive to be used in soft start and variable speed applications.
See the Turbo Research web site for more information about fluid drives and their applications.
